FGB national chairman shares faith story in Norwich

Dr Barrie Lawrence told of how from being a disappointed young man he became one of the happiest people on earth and is now the FGB national chairman, at the Norwich FGB dinner on Tuesday December 10.

Norfolk's own Dr Barrie Lawrence had seven dental surgeries and a bookshop in Norfolk before retiring in 2007, and is currently national chairman of FGB UK & Ireland (known as The Happiest People on Earth).

Barrie has been president of Norwich FGB since 2012, and regional director for East Anglia since 2017 and lives just outside Norwich.

He says he: "Sold holy books and filled holey teeth". He is also the author of six books, and speaks widely, especially within FGB circles. He is married to Wendy, with six daughters and 20 grandchildren living in five different countries.

All are welcome at this inspirational FGB dinner evening which takes place on Tuesday December 10 at the Mercure Hotel hotel, 7pm for 7.30pm, tickets £15 per person to include a two-course dinner.

The dinner is one of the regular monthly dinner evenings where speakers share ‘new life stories’. These events, open to all, are arranged by the Norwich Chapter of the Full Gospel Businessmen, (FGB), part of a worldwide fellowship. 

FGB is endorsed by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, who says: “We need more men like them.”
