Giving young people a vision for world mission

The missionary organisation OMF is putting on a training event for Christian youth workers and their friends. Tim Jenkins reports.

Inspiring Youth is an online training event aimed at equipping youth leaders with great ideas and the latest resources on teaching global mission. Come and join with us for a morning of learning from those working in this ministry and share with like-minded peers on how to engage your young people with global mission.

The event is on Saturday June 12, from 10am to noon.

Our first speaker, Vatha, will be sharing about various resources for use with your church’s youth and launching OMF’s newest youth resource, “Sharing Jesus with the World.”

Our second speaker, Ruth, will be giving us brilliant, tried-and-tested ideas of how to get your young people out into the community and actively living out their faith.

Our final speakers, Peter and Edi, will fill us in on their fun-filled WEC summer camps that offer Bible and missions teaching for young people.

There’ll be plenty of opportunities for discussion between talks and a Q&A panel at the end for any tricky topics. We will also be giving away free books. So invite your youth workers and their peers.
