Norwich Youth for Christ showcases its work

Norwich Youth for Christ’s Annual Showcase event takes place at Drayton Hall later this month and will be an opportunity to hear the charity’s latest news.

Nick Blanch, Director of Norwich Youth for Christ, writes: “As we emerge from the devastation of Covid (and believe me, for many young people, it has been devastating), we are finding ourselves navigating both mountains and valleys. There are things to be grateful for and signs that God is at work but also difficult challenges and obstacles we are trying to work through.

“This week I was discussing Romans 8 with a young person. Verses 38-39 seems apt: ‘For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’”

The Annual Showcase is on Wednesday March 30 at 7pm and you can book via Facebook here: www.facebook.com/norwichyfc (scroll down the left-hand side to see the event).

There are a number of projects on the horizon but one the team are particularly excited about is Encounter Camp. Last year was a great success and this year the charity is running it again with even more youth groups involved. For more details and booking go to integrateyfc.org.uk/camp.

Meanwhile the charity is recruiting for an Education Manager. It’s a part-time role and you can see the full advert here: norwichyfc.co.uk/vacancy/education-manager.
