Invite to join Christian climate activists' session 

Norwich-based Christian climate activists are inviting supports to join them in making banners for a large-scale gathering in London from April 21 to 24.

Christian Climate Action Norfolk are inviting friends to a prayer, placard and banner-making event at the Octagon room at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich, this Sunday, April 16, from around 12 noon till approximately 3pm.   
 
Jim Green, of CCA Norfolk, said: “Instead of the usual placards and signs, we are asking people to bring prayers written on paper or cardboard, like the one in the photo. The idea is to make things which could be taken to London for 'The Big One', the climate gathering supported by many Christian organisations, including Tearfund, Christian Aid, Cafod, A Rocha and the Iona community.
 
“Some of these things could be done at home, but it's great to come together and share ideas. We also know some people can't make it to London, but this is a way they could take part. We would especially like the banner to have a Norfolk flavour, so any idea are welcome.'
 
People are invited to bring food to share, as well as any ideas, or art materials, especially those that might help in making a banner.”
