Norfolk youth charity extends trustee deadline

The deadline has been extended for an exciting opportunity to get involved in an engaging, decision-making role in the charity East Norfolk Youth for Christ which is at the forefront of evangelism with young people in east Norfolk.

Are you passionate about God and young people? Are you enthusiastic about evangelism and working with a team? Would you love to build on and further the vision at a local youthwork organisation? Then come and become part of a team of dedicated trustees!

About East Norfolk Youth for Christ
We’re about seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus.

For the last 2 years, East Norfolk Youth for Christ has been led by an interim board of trustees from Norwich Youth for Christ. But now we need to find local people who are willing to step and take ownership of East Norfolk Youth for Christ.

We have one employed youthworker and several outreach projects in partnership with the local church including a drop-in youth cafe, an art project, regular school lunch clubs, music work and a fantastic summer camp in partnership with other local Youth for Christ centres. We are also expanding our work into Martham and other areas.

The Role of a Trustee
The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees who will meet on a regular basis to provide strategic direction, oversight of the work of the charity and to give support to the lead youthworker.

We intend to meet approximately every 2 months. Any experience levels and any age considered, as long as you are passionate about the need to see young people’s lives changed by Jesus!
