Cup finals climax Norfolk Christian League season 

The climax to the Norfolk Christian Football League adult and youth seasons are coming up  over the next two weekends with cup finals taking place.

The Bishop Maurice Woods Cup final will be contested between league winners Eaton Eagles and cup holders and league runners-up Heigham Park Rangers on Saturday May 11, at 10.30am at The Nest, Holt Rd, Horsford, Norwich NR10, 3AQ.

The following weekend, on May 18, the youth under 12 and 14 cup finals will take place at Thorpe High School (NR7 OXS) – 3G pitch.  In the U12 final Soul Church U12 will play Sprowston Youth Engagement Project (SYEP) U12. In the league the two teams finished level on points.

In the U14 final the same two clubs will also be represented with SYEP the league winners against second-placed Soul Church. The first final will start at 10am and the second be finished by 12 noon.

League secretary Paul Nice said: “Spectators are very welcome at all finals and we hope for an exciting end to the season.”
